645 VGS is located at RAF Topcliffe, which is within Allanbrooke Barracks, and is situated approx 2 miles South West of Thirsk, on the A167 approximately 1 mile South of the A61 / A167 (Busby Stoop) junction.

The No. 70 bus service is available from Thirsk town centre weekdays and Saturday only. The earliest departure from Thirsk is 08.30, and last return 17.45.

Transport from Thirsk railway station is available by pre-arrangement, and any trainees requiring collection must contact 645 VGS on 01845 595345 upon arrival at the station.
